That's right, we offer free shipping on all our products, and can send them all around the world, including to Australia, US, Canada, UK, Europe, Asia and NZ!

Shipping to Australia

Deliveries within Australia are sent by Couriers Please, Fastway Couriers and Australia Post to ensure that your package will arrive safe and sound. Because of this, there needs to be a person present at your specified delivery address during standard business hours to receive and sign for the goods. If there generally isn’t someone at your home during business hours, you may want to have your order delivered to a workplace, a neighbour or a friend’s house instead.

If Address is Unattended
If your address is unattended at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a note card which you can use to either arrange a pick-up from a nearby collection location, or organise a redelivery of the item.

Collection Locations
If an item can’t be delivered on the first attempt, it will either be taken to a nearby location for collection or made available for a redelivery.

• Couriers Please - Couriers Please use secure locations such as newsagencies, convenience stores called POPStores, and secure lockers called POPStations. Simply check the card left by the courier to confirm the collection address and follow the instructions for picking it up within 5 business days.

• Fastway Couriers - The most common collection locations for Fastway Couriers are newsagencies or convenience stores. These are called Parcel Connect locations. Simply check the card left by the courier to confirm the address of your local Parcel Connect location and follow the instructions for picking it up within 5 business days.
• Australia Post - If there is no safe place to the leave the item, parcels will be taken to the nearest post office. Simply check the card left by the driver to confirm the collection store and follow the instructions for picking it up within 10 business days before it is returned to sender.

Note: The item must be collected by the person who the item was addressed to, and will need to bring valid ID and the note card. You can arrange for another person to collect a parcel on your behalf only if picking up from a POPStation.

Organising a Redelivery
If you wish to organise a redelivery rather than picking up the parcel from a collection location, follow the instructions in the note card that has been left on the premises. Ensure that you book the redelivery within the timeframe stated on the card, as the parcel will be returned to sender after that period has lapsed.

Shipping Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all items within 2 business days of an order being placed, and delivery itself within Australia should take anywhere between 1 – 10 business days depending on where you are having it sent. Once dispatched, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number so that you can track the whereabouts of your parcel online via our courier company’s website.

As a guide, shipping times to Australian metro cities are generally as follows:
• Metro Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide: 1 – 3 business days
• Metro Brisbane: 2 – 5 business days
• Metro Hobart: 3 – 7 business days
• Metro Perth: 5 – 9 business days

Please note that the above timeframes are our couriers’ estimates only, and delivery times may vary during busy periods. Deliveries to regional locations take 1 – 10 business days depending on how frequently the couriers service those areas. 

Pick Up
Unfortunately we don’t offer a pick up option, and you’ll need to have your item shipped out to you instead.

Shipping to the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Asia + NZ

Deliveries to these countries/regions are sent by DHL, and then transferred to the relevant major postal service in order to ensure that your package will arrive safe and sound. Ideally there would be a person present at your specified delivery address during standard business hours to receive the good, so if there generally isn’t someone at your home during business hours, you may want to have your order delivered to a workplace, a neighbour or a friend’s house instead. We’re also able to send your item to a PO box so that you can collect it at your convenience.

• Europe: 9 – 15 business days, various local carriers
• Asia: 7 – 14 business days, various local carriers

Import Duties
In some countries, a small local import tax or duty charge may apply upon delivery/collection – if you do incur these additional import fees, please send proof of payment to us at info@sleepysilk.com and we’d be happy to reimburse you for these costs. No hidden fees or charges here!

International Routing
When tracking your order online, you may find that after your parcel leaves us in Australia, it can appear in an unexpected country while on its way to you. This is nothing to worry about, as international routes are optimised to ensure the fastest and smoothest delivery possible, and this often involves making a stopover or two.

If your item has not arrived within 2 business days from the last day of the ETA window, please email us at info@sleepysilk.com so that we can check on its whereabouts.
